Toigo is assisting a Partner in their search for a Senior Associate and Associate to join their private equity firm. Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct macro-level industry analyses (e.g., competitive positioning, trading comparables, precedent transaction comparables, company and industry growth prospects) to support identification and evaluation of specific targets across strategic industries
• Conduct micro-level fundamental business and capital structure analysis of specific target investment opportunities
• Develop financial models and perform business specific financial forecasting, bespoke and scenario analyses
• Assist with the preparation of formal transaction documentation (e.g. bid letters, term sheets, etc.)
• Support all facets of investment evaluation, due diligence, financing process, and preparation of internal and external presentations, investment briefs and formal Investment Committee materials
• Assist with investment structuring, tax structuring, liability analysis and other similar processes
• Prepare quarterly investor, board, and company update materials
• Model investment returns, private equity fund returns, fees and promote structures
• Assist with portfolio company management, including the participation in strategic planning and budget processes of portfolio companies and maintaining performance tracking metrics, refinancing processes
• Actively support portfolio companies with identified value creation initiatives
• Selectively support relationship development and operational activities as necessary
• Begin to develop own network and sourcing capabilities based on team’s playbook and mentorship/oversight
• Actively contribute to Firm’s culture by participating in mentorship program, training / development of more junior staff, spearheading other firm initiatives, among others
