Position: Fund Administration Professional

Boston Trust Walden is seeking an Fund Administration Professional to join the Fund Services Team as a Senior Fund Services Analyst. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that fund regulatory and governance items are met consistent with regulatory and organization standards.

As the Senior Fund Services Analyst, you will understand fund regulatory requirements, board meeting planning and production, working across functions and with the third-party administrator as appropriate. This position reports to the Director of Fund Services.

 

Key Responsibilities

Manage timely deliverables for mutual fund board book production. Manage and coordinate the Adviser board book production. Prepare and present certain quarterly and annual updates to each board. Attend all meetings (videoconference and in-person) and facilitate preparatory meetings for guest presenters. Record Adviser board meeting minutes.

Manage the annual renewal of the advisory agreement (15(c) Questionnaire). Oversee the annual mutual funds audit, production of the semi-annual and annual report, and all other required SEC filings. Coordinate the annual prospectus registration update.

Research and understand the operational impact of new or updated regulatory rules and oversee compliance implementation. Attend industry conferences and webinars.

Perform certain routine operational reports and tasks. Maintain Fund Services procedures and perform periodic reviews.

Provide updates to senior management, including internal and external business partners as needed. Act as liaison with third-party fund administrator.

Qualifications:

Education         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.  

Experience        Minimum of ten years of mutual fund administration and fund services experience. Prior job responsibilities must include experience with mutual fund regulatory and board governance functions.  

Attributes          Candidates must have a team-first attitude, be able to perform a variety of mutual fund administration functions, be intellectually curious, and operate with the highest professional and ethical standards. Preferred skills include the following:

      • Understanding of regulatory environment and requirements, and board governance
      • Knowledge and understanding of mutual fund operations
      • Experience documenting procedures, project plans, and processes
      • Exceptional oral and written communication and relationship/partnership-building skills, both with team members and other business partners
      • Exceptional attention to detail
      • Strong analytical skills and ability to work to deadlines
      • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

 

Hiring Range:

$125,000-$140,000 USD annually.

This range accounts for the wide range of factors that inform compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, roles, experience, certifications, and education.​

​Base salary is only one component of Boston Trust Walden’s compensation; our discretionary bonus and profit-sharing plan add to our total compensation package. ​This is a full-time position based in Boston, MA. Boston Trust Walden is currently operating in a hybrid manner with a mix of in-office and remote work. New hires are expected to be on-site 4 days per week for the first 3 months and then 3 days per week thereafter.
