Description

Responsibilities

 

  • Act as key point person on our private lending deal execution efforts, including:
    • Funding and transaction settlement
    • Assist in cash management and liquidity planning
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to ensure accurate and efficient deal fundings, asset set up, investment monitoring and reporting accuracy
  • Oversee various aspects of our loan agency function and ongoing investment activities, including:
    • Assist in managing all banking, custodian and facility relationships across the credit platform
    • Oversee outside stakeholder reporting and communication with banks, rating agencies, co-investors, auditors, or other parties
    • Monitor investment positions to ensure all coupon/royalty/other payments have been received and expected drawdowns are executed on time
    • Assist in the production and monitoring of monthly reporting for all leverage facilities (Includes ongoing investment company reporting, covenant and other concentration/collateral quality tests)
    • Assist investment team with tracking of company-level data including financials, covenant compliance or other information rights
    • Partner with the portfolio reporting team to review quarterly valuations and marketing materials for accuracy
    • Ensure all other recurring reporting obligations have been met such as quarterly covenant compliance packages, monthly portfolio updates, financials and other required reporting
  • Develop a complete understanding of the roles and responsibilities, systems and processes across each internal functional group, and serve as a central point of contact between the Investment Team and other parties
  • Partner with investment professionals, outside and internal counsel, tax, accounting and compliance professionals to ensure good cross-functional communication and coordination throughout the investing process
  • Provide support to investor relations, including quarterly investor updates
  • Assist with presentation creation for various stakeholders including Board of Directors, rating agencies and banks
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams, Portfolio Construction & Risk Management, Marketing, Client Relations, Legal, Compliance, and externally with ESG research analysts and service providers to enhance ESG processes for scalability, efficacy and investment impact
  • Assist with a firm wide initiative to re-assess technological needs related to our credit platform
  • Participate in a wide variety of special projects, both operational and financial

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years of experience as an investment operations analyst or other applicable role in private credit
  • Dedicated fixed income and direct lending experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to variable deadlines

Education

 

Bachelor’s degree required.

 

Base Salary Range

 

$100,000 - $125,000

 

In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement.  The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
