Position: Human Resource Manager

Job Description: As an HR Manager at Boston Trust Walden, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, driving performance development initiatives, supporting the professional development of our employees, and being integral in our recruitment efforts. You will work closely with leadership and employees to create a thriving work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Development:Support our performance development programs, including goal setting, performance assessments, and feedback processes. Coach and support managers and employees to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Professional Development:Identify training and development needs and create programs to support the professional growth of employees. Coordinate workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:Participate in the recruitment process to attract and hire top talent. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, manage job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
  • Employee Relations:Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Company Culture:Develop and implement strategies to enhance and maintain a positive company culture. Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and other initiatives to foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaboration:Foster a collaborative work environment where teamwork and open communication are encouraged and valued.
  • Excellence:Strive for excellence in all HR practices and initiatives, continuously seeking ways to improve and innovate.
  • Integrity:Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior in all interactions and decisions.
  • Accountability:Promote a culture of accountability, where employees take responsibility for their actions and outcomes.
  • Stewardship:Demonstrate stewardship by managing resources responsibly and making decisions that support the long-term success of the company and its employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong professionalism and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 

 

 

This is a full-time position based in Boston, MA. Boston Trust Walden is currently operating in a hybrid manner with a mix of in-office and remote work. Specifics are dependent upon the team and should be discussed with the hiring manager.
